ALKALINE NON-CYANIDE ZINC – This process produces beautiful, bright deposit at all current densities that can be post-treated easily and with all conventional conversion coatings. The zinc layers are very ductile and have a good adhesion to the base material. It is suited for rack and barrel applications and has a high current efficiency.
ACID ZINC – This process produces brilliant deposits over a wide range of current densities in both rack and barrel plating operations. The brightener operates with both ammonium and non-ammonium systems. The process is characterized by excellent levelling and brightness over a wide current density range. Excellent ductility. Platable on cast iron, malleable iron and carbonitrided steel, readily chromated and has excellent throwing power. It is suitable for rack or barrel and has a high cloud point.
CYANIDE ZINC – Produces a brilliant deposits for rack and barrel operations. Throwing and covering power is excellent. Zinc plated parts can easily be chromated. Due to the variable
metal and cyanide content of the solution, it may be used over a wide range of operating conditions. It contains no aldehydes, a fact which allows the plater to use higher than normal operating temperatures (up to 45 °C). Its brilliant deposits and its economy make it the outstanding cyanide zinc process.
MECHANICAL ZINC plating and galvanizing systems offer the perfect solution when the potential for hydrogen embrittlement exists. Steel of any hardness can be processed quickly and effectively, offering the same high protection as conventional electroplated zinc deposits. Specified and used by all leading automotive manufacturing companies for over 2 decade
ZINC FLAKE COATINGS – offer a full range of black and silver base coats, as well as organic and inorganic top coats. The coatings are modular and individually combinable to meet various requirements and approved by numerous OEMs. There is no risk of hydrogen embrittlement and are free of heavy metals such as Pb, Hg, Cd, Ni, Co, and Cr(VI). Typical applications are fasteners such as screws, bolts, rivets, clamps, pins and springs, etc. for automotive, construction and wind energy applications. Brake and chassis components and stampings.
