Dry Vinyl Yellow Masking Tape for Chrome Plating
3.94 mil (0.10mm) total thickness. Non-adhesive plasticized polyvinyl chloride film tape. Easy unwinding characteristics – tape
clings firmly to it’s own backing for tight wrap. High elongation and
good strength to permit trouble-free binding of wiring harnesses
for the automotive industry. Dry vinyl tape also used for plating
applications – high stretch, good “cling” characteristics and great
conformability provide for superior masking in hard chrome and
other plating applications. UL510 Flame Resistant. Cold flexibility –
no cracking. Tensile Strength: 8.6 lbs/in. Elongation: 200%. Meets
certificate standard: CE. 11

Soft PVC Masking tape with adhesive for Electroplating
6.8 mil (0.17mm) Yellow Soft PVC Film. Rubber resin adhesive.
Extremely conformable, durable and highly resistant to oil, acid,
alkalines, corrosive chemicals. Excellent adhesion to metals,
plastics. Designed for use with PCB terminal zone contacts to
prevent penetration of chemicals during plating process; as a
protection tape for shot peening applications. Adhesion: 17 oz/in.
Tensile Strength: 16 lbs/in. Elongation: 100% at break. Operating
Temperature: 140°F (60°C) to 194°F (90°C). 3” paper core/carton.
